Hugs, Empathy and the Bounty Way: Issue 1

Rain is descending from the sky with such velocity that you’d think it was at war with the ground. A traveller, an unfortunate victim of nature, staggers down the beaten road, whilst water drains into every fibre of their coat and backpack. The weight becoming unbearable, their legs tremor and buckle under each pathetic stride. The ground falls upwards towards their face, the traveler's lower half has finally given way.

Thump.

Instead of the cold wet mud, their cheek was met with soft shaggy fur. Its warmth is welcomed, relaxing the traveller, as they allow themselves to be enveloped. The symphony of the storm: rain, wind and thunder, harmonize with the breath of the cuddly protector. First sunlight breaks through the fur, awakening the traveller to their highland hero. Bounty stands proud, shaking the damp from his fur, followed by a salute. The traveller lowers his cap in response and the two go about their ways.
